about the project

about the project

Coachella 2025 marked a historic first, with Indo Warehouse becoming the first South Asian electronic collective to perform at the festival. Taking over the Gobi Stage, the set blended electronic music with South Asian instrumentation, dance, and live performance into something that felt equally like a rave and a ritual. We built visuals that matched that ambition: immersive, culturally rooted, and designed for one of the world's most iconic festival stages.

The brief was clear: bold, branded, timeless. We built a text-driven visual direction anchored in the artist’s own identity, typographic, striking, and uncompromising. No decoration, no distraction. Just a visual world precise enough to hold its own on stage and distinctive enough to make the artist unmistakable the moment the screens come alive.

Indo Warehouse is a New York-born South Asian electronic collective founded by Armaan Gupta (Kahani) and Kunal Merchant, built around a creative gap: the absence of a global club sound that authentically reflected South Asian musical depth. Fusing deep techno with classical Indian influences, from Punjabi dhol to Qawwali, they have built a sound that feels as sacred as it does visceral.

Kimeraa is a Mumbai-based artist carving out a distinct space in India’s independent music scene, known for a sound and aesthetic that is deliberate, considered, and entirely her own.
